With over 20 years of experience in shade house construction we offer you not only qualified but also personal service. Sundowner Fern and Orhid Houses started as family business and is now managed and run solely by Michael Boyd. structure

Michael personally manufactures, supplies and installs all shade houses. We have standard units as well as specialised constructions of any size, shape and design to suit you and your plants needs. Sprinkler systems can be fitted where required.

Our shade houses are made of a galvanised weldmesh frame for low maintenance, have reinforced roofing for extra strength and suitable for hanging plants. The construction allows for free airflow, is not affected by dry rot or white ants and discourages snails and grubs.

Our frames are perfect for cat and pet enclosures which can also be made to your design.

Hot houses are also a product that we specialise in with the addition of solar weave and venting where required.
